The other day I was going through my calendar to work out the budget when I noticed vacation coming up in June. I should start planning now so we’ll be ready financially.
We’ll also need to make sure other things are in order. Will the dog go with us or will we need to find him a place to stay? Do we have enough luggage? Who will come by and feed the cats?
Then there is the packing. Maybe we should make a list, so we don’t forget anything. Toothbrushes, pillows, shampoo, (because those little hotel bottles are never big enough) and other essentials. If we’re not ready the trip could be disastrous.
Soon there is another trip coming up. To a beautiful location that from the reviews sounds unbelievable. A lot of our family promises to be there waiting on us, some we haven’t seen in a long time. So this trip has the potential to be the most exciting trip any of us have had.
Although this is a one way trip. To heaven. When Jesus returns. Are you “packed and ready”? Have you confessed you’re a sinner and need a Savior? If not, I encourage you to do so today. If so, congratulations. This trip will be awesome!!
